New addition to the team

We are happy to announce that we have a new addition to the Carpet Knights team. Jamie May started working with Carpet Knights in October 2011. Jamie is taking on the role of carpet and upholstery cleaning technician and once he has completed his training period will be working along side Jason.

Special Care Baby Unit at Treliske

On Saturday 30th April from 7pm till 10pm in aid of the Special Care Baby Unit at Treliske, there will be a charity auction fundraising event at The Star Inn, Vogue, St Day. Carpet Knights have donated £100 worth of our services to this great cause who many people across the county have or will be helped by.

Sarah and Goron will be attending the night and look forward to see you all there.

Precious Lives Appeal

On the 18th September 2010 Sarah took part in the moonlight memory walk in aid of the precious lives appeal. From the date Sarah registered to do the walk until the 18th we donated £5 for every job we completed which totalled £325. Sarah has so far raised £1048 for this great cause during this one event, made up of donations from friends, family, suppliers and other carpet cleaning firms around the country. We have now had confirmation that Sarah raised the most money out of all the people who took part in the memory walk. She has been awarded free haircuts for a year by Rococo hair salon in Truro. You can see an article in a local paper HERE

Movember

During the month of November Goron has been growing his moustache for Movember. Movember is a cause set up to promote mens health specifically for prostate cancer. Donations can be made by clicking here Movember . Goron found this to be one of the most uncomfortable things he has ever had to endure with the constant itching and spiked lips but it is for a good cause.

Carpet Knights New Carpet Cleaning Van

On the 19th August we took reciept of our new van from the Plymouth and Cornwall Van Centre in Saltash. It is an environmentally friendly Vauxhall Combo 1.3 cdti and will help us cover our increasing demand and also get into those tight coastal villages that our bigger vans struggle with.

Blackwater School Raffle Prize

For the second year running Carpet Knights have supplied Blackwater School with a prize for their raffle. The donation was £50 worth of carpet cleaning.
